How I Take Notes

My note-taking process has evolved significantly over the years. Here's how it works today.

The Workflow

1. Capture — I write everything in Obsidian using a daily note
2. Process — Each evening I turn fleeting notes into permanent atomic notes
3. Connect — I always ask "what does this remind me of?" and add links

Why It Works

The key insight is that writing is thinking. When you have to put something in your own words and link it to what you already know, you genuinely understand it.
